Trochu Arboretum Hosts Travel Drumheller Long Table Dinner
On September 18 and 20, 2025, the Trochu Arboretum came alive as it hosted Travel Drumheller’s Long Table Dinner—two unforgettable evenings that celebrated local food, community, and the beauty of Alberta’s prairies.
Guests gathered around long tables set beneath the Arboretum’s trees, where twinkling lights and the crisp September air created a magical atmosphere. Chefs plated stunning dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients, each course showcasing the richness of Alberta’s farms and producers. Regional beverages paired perfectly with the menu, turning every bite into a celebration of the harvest season.
The Arboretum provided more than just a backdrop—it framed the entire experience. Guests dined among pathways, gardens, and brilliant fall colors, with the setting itself becoming a highlight of the evening. These dinners revealed just how versatile the Arboretum is, not only as a garden retreat but also as a unique venue for cultural events, culinary experiences, and community gatherings.
Hosting the Long Table Dinner has opened the door to new possibilities. We would love to welcome more special events, festivals, and creative community experiences to the Arboretum in the future. Whether it’s food, music, art, or something entirely new, the gardens and grounds are ready to inspire unforgettable moments.
