Volunteers Needed — Alberta Highway Cleanup Day
The annual Alberta Highway Cleanup is coming up, and we’re looking for volunteers to help keep our community beautiful!

Time: 10:00 AM
Meeting Location: A&W in Three Hills

We will be cleaning our usual section along Highway 583, from Junction 21 to Highway 836 (east of Three Hills). This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, connect with neighbours, and make a visible difference in our local area.
How You Can Help
We’re looking for individuals, families, and small groups to assist with different sections along the route. Children are welcome to participate with supervision.
If you’re available, please let us know:
- If you can volunteer
- If you have a preferred section (see map below)
- How many people will be joining you, and their names (and age if children).

Safety Requirements
Safety is a priority for all participants:
- Volunteers must be at least 9 years of age
- Supervision ratios:
- 1 adult for every 2 children under 14
- 1 adult for every 5 youth ages 14–18
- All participants must complete safety training
- Only outer ditches are cleaned on divided highways
- Medians are not cleaned on divided highways
- Bags, gloves and vests are provided.
Training materials and forms are provided through Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors prior to the cleanup.
